Before obtaining his law degree, Heon worked as an engineer in Korea for Daewoo Electronics in the areas of cable modems and decoding systems for high-definition television, and for LG Information & Communications in digital wireless communications. Heon also worked for Samsung Securities in Korea as an equity research analyst. Heon joined the firm in 2006, and his practice includes prosecution of domestic and foreign patents related to electrical, software, electromechanical and mechanical inventions.
